The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) has formally registered Monde M.Y. San Corporation as a locator at the TECO Industrial Park-Special Economic Zone (TIP-SEZ) in Mabalacat, Pampanga, paving the way for the food manufacturer to build a dedicated production facility for its flagship SkyFlakes crackers and sandwich products.

The project involves an investment of over P5 billion and is scheduled to begin commercial operations in 2027, PEZA announced in a social media post.

It is expected to generate direct employment and bolster the food manufacturing value chain in Central Luzon.

The registration marks the entry of one of the Philippines’ most recognized consumer food brands into the ecozone system, and signals continued investor interest in PEZA-administered industrial parks outside Metro Manila.

PEZA notes that Monde M.Y. San’s choice to establish within TIP-SEZ underscores the increasing competitiveness of provincial ecozones in drawing large-scale, high-value manufacturing investments.

PEZA has positioned the registration as consistent with its broader mandate to draw quality investments, create employment, and support inclusive industrial development across the regions.
