Food and beverage company Monde Nissin Corporation and DHL Supply Chain are marking a decade of strategic partnership, which both sides credit to collaboration, trust and continuous improvement in supply chain operations.
“The strongest partnerships go beyond contracts, KPIs (key performance indicators), and service-level agreements,” Cris John Garcia, Monde Nissin’s lead for strategic global logistics, vendor management and corporate procurement, said in a LinkedIn post.
Garcia said lasting partnerships are built on trust, accountability, transparency and a shared commitment to getting better every day.
Ramonette Cailles, Monde Nissin’s director for supply network, innovations and growth, said the partnership’s success is measured less by how long it has lasted and more by the challenges overcome, the value created and the milestones reached together.
“In supply chain, there’s no such thing as perfect,” Cailles said, adding that partners must keep improving their operations and performance.
Garcia thanked the DHL Supply Chain Philippines team, led by Bevan Williams, as well as current and former Monde Nissin employees who contributed to the partnership over the past 10 years. He said strong supply chains are built by people and partnerships, not companies alone, and by teams that go beyond what is expected.
Monde Nissin Corporation is a global food and beverage company headquartered in Santa Rosa, Laguna. It was founded on May 23, 1979, as Monde Denmark Nissin Biscuit Corporation and took its current name in 1999.
DHL Supply Chain Philippines is the contract logistics arm of the DHL Group. As a 3PL provider, it offers customized warehousing, inventory management, order fulfillment, packaging and end-to-end transport services.
