Philippine Airlines (PAL) and Qatar Airways are expanding their strategic partnership beginning June 1, 2026, integrating flight networks and loyalty programs across Europe, Southeast Asia, and domestic Philippine routes.
The reciprocal codeshare agreement will allow PAL to place its PR code on Qatar Airways flights operating from Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao to Doha. From Doha’s Hamad International Airport, passengers can connect to more than 20 European destinations, including Paris, Rome, and Frankfurt.
Qatar Airways, meanwhile, will place its QR code on PAL’s domestic network. The arrangement aims to streamline transfers for international passengers arriving in Manila and Cebu who are traveling onward to domestic tourist destinations such as Caticlan and Puerto Princesa.

The expansion also connects the carriers’ frequent flyer programs, Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club and PAL’s Mabuhay Miles.
Under the agreement, Privilege Club members can earn and redeem Avios points on PAL flights across Australasia, Southeast Asia, the United States, and domestic Philippine routes. Mabuhay Miles members will gain the reciprocal ability to earn and redeem miles across Qatar Airways’ global network, which includes destinations in Africa and Europe.
The agreement marks the 26th airline partnership for Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club as the Doha-based carrier attempts to increase its market footprint in Southeast Asia. For PAL, the partnership is designed to increase its network access and market presence in the Middle East.
The shared loyalty points can be redeemed for standard rewards, including flight upgrades, award flights, and associated retail or travel packages within their respective partner networks.
