The Procurement and Supply Institute of Asia (PASIA) and the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) have formalized a strategic partnership to advance supply chain management, procurement innovation, and business competitiveness across southeast Asia.
The partnership aims to promote knowledge exchange, industry collaboration, and innovative practices to help build more resilient, competitive, and sustainable supply chains among member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), PASIA said in a news release.
The collaboration comes as businesses face rapid technological advances, shifting global trade dynamics, and the growing importance of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and ethical business practices in supply chain management.

PASIA brings together business leaders, supply chain practitioners, and industry experts through professional development, corporate training, industry engagements, and knowledge-sharing platforms.
ASEAN-BAC serves as a channel for private-sector engagement within the regional bloc, providing business perspectives and recommendations to support regional economic integration and improve the business environment.
Combined network and expertise
By combining their networks and expertise, the two organizations aim to encourage greater private-sector participation, facilitate industry dialogue, and help businesses respond to changing regional and global economic conditions.
Moving forward, PASIA and ASEAN-BAC plan to explore joint programs, industry engagements, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
The partnership aligns with the recent PASIAWorld 2026, held on October 8-9 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, under the theme “Reinventing Supply Chain AI, Intelligence & Ethics for a Resilient, Competitive ASEAN.”
The event brought together business leaders, supply chain practitioners, technology providers, and other industry stakeholders to discuss emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, supply chain resilience, ethical business practices, and regional competitiveness.
