PEZA honors 30 locators, developers at 2025 Investors’ Night

  • More than 40 locator companies and developers were given awards during this year’s Philippine Economic Zone Authority Investors’ Recognition Night
  • The event coincided with the investment promotions agency’s 30th anniversary, held on December 15
  • PEZA launched this year a new category, the Top Performing Logistics Service Provider Award, to recognize innovation, superior service delivery, and excellence in the industry

More than 40 locator companies and developers were given awards during this year’s Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Investors’ Recognition Night, which coincided with the agency’s 30th anniversary, held on December 15.

PEZA also introduced this year a new category – Top Performing Logistics Service Provider Award –  recognizing innovation, superior service delivery, and excellence in the industry as a testament to the agency’s commitment to rewarding emerging drivers of global competitiveness.

The annual Outstanding Exporter, Employer, Community Project, and Environmental Performance Awards were given to locators that have excelled in exports, job generation, social impact, and environmental stewardship.

The Hall of Fame Award was conferred on three-time winners of these categories, while the Billionaires’ Award pays tribute to companies surpassing US$2.5 billion in annual exports.

The PEZA Golden Achievement Award, meanwhile, is the highest honor bestowed upon a company elevated to the Hall of Fame in all four major categories.

The Outstanding Exporter Awards were given to the following locators:

  • Moog Controls Corp.
  • Optum Global Solutions (Philippines), Inc.

  • Technologlobal Team, Inc.
  • Yazaki Torres Manufacturing Inc.
  • Telephilippines Inc.

The Outstanding Employer Award were awarded to the following:

  • Cebu Mitsumi, Inc.
  • Kanepackage Philippine Inc.
  • B/E Aerospace BV
  • HSBC Electronic Data Processing (Philippines), Inc.
  • Furukawa Automotive Systems Lima Philippines Inc.
  • House Technology Industries Pte. Ltd.
  • Sumifru (Philippines) Corp.
  • TDK Philippines Corp.
  • Philippine Manufacturing Co. of Murata
  • Wells Fargo International Solutions LLC-Philippines

The Outstanding Community Projects Award were given to the following:

  • Nidec Philippines Corp.
  • KPGroup Philippines Inc.
  • Cebu Mitsumi, Inc.
  • Epson Precision (Philippines), Inc.
  • Lexmark Research and Development Corp.
  • Taganito Hipal Nickel Corp.
  • JT International Asia Manufacturing Corp.

The Outstanding Environmental Performance Award recipients were the following:

  • Teradyne Philippines Ltd.
  • Nidec Philippines Corp.
  • Kanepackage Philippines Inc.
  • Cebu Mitsumi, Inc.

The first recipients of the new Top Performing Logistics Service Enterprise Award are the following:

  • Inabata Philippines, Inc.
  • Nagase Philippines International Services Corp.
  • Sumitronics Phils., Inc.

PEZA also gave special recognition to its longest tenured registered business enterprises, Pasig Industries, Inc. and TMX Philippines, Inc.

The following companies were elevated to the Hall of Fame this year:

  • Cebu Mitsumi, Inc. – outstanding exporter
  • TDK Philippines Corp. – outstanding community project
  • Philippine Manufacturing Co. of Murata – outstanding community project
  • Denso Ten Philippines Corp. — outstanding community project
  • Cognizant Technology Solutions Philippines, Inc. – outstanding environmental performance

This year’s Billionaire’s Award recipients were  TI (Philippines), Inc. and Philippine Associated Smelting and Refining Corp.

Canon Business Machines (Philippines), Inc., meanwhile, was conferred this year’s Golden Achievement Award.

PEZA this year has already surpassed its 2024 full-year investment approval, recording a total of P237.10 billion in approved investments as of its December 12, 2025 board meeting. This is 10.7% higher than the P214.18 billion approved investments in 2024.

PEZA director general Tereso Panga earlier said they are still expecting to approve a minimum of four projects in its last board meeting this year scheduled on December 22.

For this year, PEZA’s investment target is P250 billion, although Panga said they are still hoping to breach the P300-billion mark, or in 2026.
