The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) is hosting the 32nd ASEAN Postal Business Meeting (APBM) and ASEANPOST++ Meeting from October 5 to 7 at the Manila Marriott Hotel. Postal leaders from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and partner countries Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, and Korea will discuss ways to boost cross-border e-commerce, logistics, operational efficiency and revenue growth.
Talks focus on ongoing ASEANPost initiatives and opportunities for closer cooperation in e-commerce and logistics, including potential joint services that would combine customs clearance and last-mile delivery across participating postal networks.
Participants will also discuss measures to make cross-border returns more efficient and convenient for merchants and consumers, an increasingly important component of international e-commerce.

The postal organizations are also expected to explore using postal facilities and infrastructure for logistics and micro-fulfillment operations, enabling them to maximize their existing networks and physical assets.
Innovation and sustainability
Technology, innovation, and sustainability initiatives will likewise figure prominently in the discussions as postal operators seek to improve services and strengthen their competitiveness.

The 32nd ASEAN Postal Business Meeting will convene on the afternoon of October 6 and culminate in the signing of agreements and the adoption of decisions reached during the meeting.
By hosting the meetings, PHLPost said it aims to strengthen its engagement with ASEAN postal organizations and contribute to regional efforts to develop more connected, efficient, and commercially responsive postal networks.
