AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC), Ayala Land’s industrial parks and logistics real estate arm, has secured Taiwanese solar float manufacturer Suntoward Tech Philippine Inc. as a new locator, marking the company’s entry into the Philippine market.

ALLHC announced that Suntoward leased more than 3,800 square meters (sqm) at ALogis Mabalacat 1 in Pampanga for its initial operations, and 8,200 sqm at Batangas Technopark for its planned expansion.

The company will manufacture, fabricate, and assemble high-density polyethylene (HDPE) floats, walkways, and mounting components for floating solar photovoltaic (FPV) systems.

Production at ALogis Mabalacat 1 is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2027.

Suntoward plans to supply renewable energy developers, engineering, procurement and construction contractors, and industrial clients in the Philippines and overseas.

The two facilities provide access to key regional markets. ALogis Mabalacat 1, located within Pampanga Technopark, is accessible through the North Luzon Expressway and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway, with Clark International Airport nearby.

Batangas Technopark in Padre Garcia is accessible through the South Luzon Expressway and Southern Tagalog Arterial Road Tollway.

“We are excited to establish our first operations in the Philippines through ALLHC’s facilities,” said Suntoward president Jack Wang. “This investment allows us to bring our manufacturing capabilities closer to key renewable energy projects in the region. We are confident that this partnership will help us serve our clients better while contributing to local industrial growth.”

For ALLHC, Suntoward’s entry highlights how its industrial properties support companies establishing or expanding their operations in the Philippines.

“By providing industrial facilities in strategic regional locations, we aim to support businesses as they establish operations, expand capacity, and serve their markets,” said ALLHC chief operating officer Patrick Avila. “We look forward to supporting Suntoward’s growth in the Philippines and its role in the supply chain for floating solar projects.”
