Vietjet will launch its first service at Clark International Airport (CRK) with direct flights to Ho Chi Minh City starting November 10, 2026, expanding international connectivity for travelers from Central and Northern Luzon.

The Clark-Ho Chi Minh City route will operate three round-trip flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, providing a direct link between Clark and Vietnam’s largest city and serving as a gateway to other destinations across the country.

Vietjet flight VJ1871 will depart Clark at 5:05 p.m. and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 6:35 p.m. local time.

The return flight, VJ1870, will depart Ho Chi Minh City at 12:30 p.m. and arrive at Clark at 4:05 p.m.

The new route will give passengers from the region direct access to Ho Chi Minh City, which offers a mix of tourism, cultural, business and commercial attractions. The city also serves as a gateway to other Vietnamese destinations, with passengers able to connect to Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and Hue through Vietjet’s domestic network.

“Vietjet’s decision to launch its first Clark service is a strong vote of confidence in the market we serve. Clark gives airlines access to a large catchment area beyond Metro Manila, and this direct connection to Ho Chi Minh City creates a more efficient travel option for passengers across Central and Northern Luzon,” Noel Manankil, president and CEO of Luzon International Premiere Airport Development (LIPAD) Corp., operator of CRK, said in a statement.

“We see considerable potential for this route to support both tourism and business links between the two markets,” he added.

Fare promo

To mark the launch, Vietjet will offer promotional fares every Friday, with one-way Eco fares starting at US$75, inclusive of taxes and fees.

The promotion covers travel through March 31, 2027, subject to peak travel periods, public holidays and applicable blackout dates.

Bookings may be made through Vietjet’s website and mobile application.

The airline said passengers on its modern fleet can also access Vietnamese and international food options, including pho, banh mi and Vietnamese iced coffee, as well as its inflight cultural and entertainment offerings.
