Technology-enabled logistics firm Yello X Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. signed an agreement with the Coconut Industry Investment Fund (CIIF) to provide transport services for the movement of coconut and related agricultural products across key routes in Luzon.

The agreement, signed on April 29, reinforces a shared commitment to enable efficient farm-to-market logistics, ensuring that agricultural goods are transported faster, more reliably, and with greater cost efficiency, directly benefiting farmers, producers, and downstream industries, Yello X said in a statement.

CIIF is a government-controlled fund overseen through the Presidential Commission on Good Government.

“This is more than an agreement. This is about connecting producers to markets, supporting livelihoods, and enabling growth in the agriculture sector through disciplined execution and strong partnerships,” Yello X president Albert Doceo said.

For his part, CIIF president and chief executive officer Carlo Luis Rabat underscored the organization’s role in supporting the coconut industry and advancing programs that strengthen farmer participation in the value chain. He emphasized CIIF’s continued commitment to improving market access, enhancing logistics capabilities, and ensuring that the benefits of growth reach coconut farmers and their communities.

Through the partnership, Yello X will deploy its integrated logistics capabilities to support CIIF’s operational requirements, covering critical routes such as Batangas to Laguna and Batangas to Cainta. The initiative is expected to improve supply chain flow, reduce delays, and enhance overall delivery reliability for agricultural commodities.

Yello X said the collaboration highlights the importance of public-private partnerships in solving long-standing logistics challenges in agriculture, particularly in ensuring the timely movement of goods from production hubs to consumption centers.

Aligned with the broader goals of programs such as Sagip Saka, the partnership also supports efforts to strengthen farmers’ access to markets by improving logistics efficiency and reducing friction in the supply chain, helping ensure that agricultural products move where they are needed, when they are needed.

Yello X said the engagement reflects a shared responsibility to support the movement of essential goods and strengthen the country’s agricultural backbone, quietly doing the work that keeps communities and markets connected.

The signing of the agreement also comes at a time of heightened global tension, particularly in the Middle East, where the ongoing Iran situation continues to drive volatility in fuel prices and global supply chains.

“In times like this, execution matters more. We stay focused on what we control: speed, clarity, and reliability. Our role is to keep goods moving, protect supply chains, and support our partners on the ground,” Doceo said.

Yello X said it continues to proactively manage risks, optimize routes, and work closely with partners and stakeholders to maintain service continuity despite external pressures.
