BOC-Batangas posts P23B June revenue, exceeds midyear target

The Bureau of Customs (BOC)-Port of Batangas collected P23.15 billion in June and P120.88 billion in the first-half 2026, exceeding the target for both periods.

Led by district collector Carmelita Talusan, the Port of Batangas generated P23.15 billion in June, higher by 9.31% than the P21.18 billion target, the BOC unit reported.

The month’s collection lifted the port’s cumulative first-half revenue to P120.88 billion, exceeding its midyear target of P118.44 billion by P2.45 billion or 2.06%.

The port also posted its strongest monthly surplus in March 2026 when it collected P22.21 billion, exceeding its P19.16-billion target by P3.05 billion or 15.93%.

The agency said that the revenue results demonstrate the Port of Batangas’ ongoing efforts to enhance customs functions, support legitimate trade, and improve service quality, in accordance with its revenue-collection responsibilities.

Speaking during the July 13 awarding ceremony, Talusan attributed the port’s performance to the commitment of its personnel and the support of stakeholders.

“Exceeding our revenue collection target reflects not only the competence and dedication of the men and women of the Port of Batangas but also the strong partnership we have established with our stakeholders and the continued compliance of the trading community with customs laws and regulations,” she said.
