The Bureau of Customs-Port of Batangas (BOC-POB) exceeded its revenue target for the first quarter of 2026, collecting P59.14 billion against the assigned target of P58.75 billion, reflecting a positive deviation of P387.88 million, the port announced in a statement.
At the BOC-POB flag raising ceremony on April 6, district collector Carmelita Talusan awarded the Certificates of Commendation to its offices and divisions that turned in outstanding performance, including the sub-ports of Siain and Puerto Princesa.
Talusan lauded the dedication and teamwork of all personnel, emphasizing that the achievement demonstrates the port’s commitment to operational efficiency, revenue generation, and service excellence. “Beyond the numbers, this record-breaking performance highlights our strong commitment to delivering efficient and responsive service to our stakeholders,” she said.
Talusan said the accomplishment underscores the port’s adherence to good governance and its support of the BOC’s mandate to enhance trade facilitation, strengthen revenue collection, and safeguard national borders.
In alignment with the Integrity, Accountability, and Modernization Program of BOC Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno, BOC–POB remains focused on sustaining its performance through efficient service delivery, reinforced enforcement measures, and continuous process improvements, she said.
