Cebu Pacific inaugurated the Cebu Pacific Training Academy in Parañaque City, one of the first centralized, modern aviation training facilities in the Philippines.

The Cebu Pacific Training Academy, spanning 1,685 square meters, is equipped with Airbus A330 and ATR door trainers, cabin mock-ups, slide trainers, dedicated classrooms, and equipment rooms.

The infrastructure is designed to deliver scenario-based and hands-on instruction from the airline’s own flight and cabin crew training staff.

Cebu Pacific chairman Lance Gokongwei, chief operations officer Javier Massot, and Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines director general Ret. Lt. Gen. Raul Del Rosario led the inauguration ceremony on April 27, the airline announced in press release.

“This facility allows us to stay focused on what matters most: operational excellence, service consistency, and nation-building,” Massot said.

Massot highlighted that the facility embodies the airline’s long-term commitment to the Philippine aviation sector and is intended to lift industry-wide standards.

“With this facility, we also seek to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of aviation training standards in the Philippines, and to help raise a generation of more capable and future-ready aviation professionals,” he said.

The airline revived its Cadet Pilot Program in 2024 in partnership with Cebu-based flight training school Airworks Aviation, offering structured mentorship and a direct pathway to employment with the carrier. As of April 2026, the program has produced its second batch of graduates.

The airline is also running cabin crew recruitment drives across its key hubs nationwide to keep pace with expanding operations.

Cebu Pacific currently operates the widest network in the Philippines, serving 35 domestic and 26 international destinations.
