DHL Supply Chain (DSC) Philippines and Teradyne Philippines have inaugurated a new 4,200-square meter built-to-suit facility in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.
The temperature-controlled warehouse inaugurated on October 30 is fully dedicated to Teradyne and designed for the quality, safe, and careful handling of its technology products.
The warehouse marks DSC Philippines’ first facility in Cebu, the global contract logistics solutions provider said in a statement.
Located close to Teradyne’s Cebu manufacturing facility, the warehouse enables stronger connectivity, closer coordination, and more efficient movement of goods, with DSC providing the resources, assets, warehousing, and transportation services supporting Teradyne’s operations.
DSC Philippines said the new Cebu facility represents not just additional logistics capacity, but is a strategic milestone in both companies’ partnership, combining dedicated infrastructure, end-to-end logistics capabilities, real-time visibility, and close proximity to Teradyne’s manufacturing operations to support greater efficiency, control, and future growth.
Teradyne is an American firm that designs, develops, and manufactures automated test equipment and advanced robotics systems. It has been operating in Cebu for more than 25 years.
Warehouse features
The warehouse features inbound receiving and put-away; picking at pallet, carton, and crate levels; dispatching and truck loading; and transportation between the Teradyne site and DHL facility.
There is also a system dashboard that provides real-time inventory monitoring and transaction management, supporting greater operational transparency and informed supply chain decisions.
DSC Philippines noted that Teradyne identified Cebu as its largest manufacturing facility, reinforcing the importance of the new logistics footprint. The facility is also positioned to support Teradyne’s growing operations and provide a foundation for future opportunities.
DSC Philippines, meanwhile, reaffirmed its commitment to handling Teradyne’s technology products with precision, care, reliability, and visibility.
