FAST Logistics Group has rolled out 45 new delivery vehicles to boost its last-leg and nationwide freight operations, supporting businesses amid growing demand to move goods faster and more reliably across the country.

The fleet additon includes 25 nimble delivery vehicles for last-leg deliveries and less-than-container load (LCL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments, as well as five brand-new 10-wheeler wing vans and 15 brand-new 6-wheeler trucks for higher-volume transport requirements, FAST said in a statement.

The deployment expands FAST’s transport network of more than 3,100 trucks of all types and sizes operating across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

FAST chief executive officer for logistics Manuel Onrejas Jr. said the new units will help the company respond more quickly to customer requirements, improve delivery frequency, and ensure consistent service across its network.

“These new units allow us to respond more quickly to customer requirements, improve delivery frequency, and ensure consistent service across our network,” Onrejas said.

The 25 nimble delivery vehicles, designed to carry shipments of up to two cubic meters, have been deployed in Cebu, Iloilo, Bacolod, Tacloban, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, General Santos City, Butuan, Zamboanga, and Palawan.

Onrejas said the vehicles are “purpose-built for urban and provincial last-leg deliveries, where speed, maneuverability, and reliability are essential.”

He said the deployment of nimble delivery fleet will benefit FAST’s customers — including multinational companies, conglomerates, and micro, small, and medium enterprises across the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), consumer retail, pharmaceutical, automotive, and agribusiness sectors. These businesses, he noted, require dependable last-leg transport solutions as their distribution networks expand.

The new fleet is also seen to improve connectivity across FAST’s multimodal transport network by supporting smoother cargo movement from ports, airports, and distribution hubs to final delivery points.

“This is particularly important for customers who rely on the timely distribution of consolidated shipments to multiple destinations,” Onrejas said.

The 10-wheeler wing vans and 6-wheeler trucks, meanwhile, will support large-volume requirements of FAST’s customers, including major multinational and Filipino companies in the FMCG sector.

FAST business unit head for transport operations Oli Encabo said the deployment forms part of the company’s continuing effort to strengthen mid-mile and last-leg delivery capabilities in key urban centers and high-growth areas.

“Our investments enhance our ability to move shipments quickly and efficiently from distribution hubs to their final destinations, ensuring greater reliability and service consistency for our customers,” Encabo said.

He said FAST will continue to expand its transport network and service coverage to support customers’ evolving logistics requirements nationwide.
