Philippine Airlines (PAL) will increase its Manila-Melbourne service from five weekly flights to daily operations starting November 19, 2026.
This will expand travel and cargo capacity between the Philippines and Australia ahead of the year-end peak season.
The additional flights will give passengers more options for holiday travel, family visits, and business trips while improving connectivity to destinations across PAL’s network, the flag carrier said in a press release.
Under the new daily schedule, PR 209 will depart Manila at 8:20 p.m. and arrive in Melbourne at 7:30 a.m. the following day.
The return flight, PR 210, will depart Melbourne at 9:20 a.m. and arrive in Manila at 2:25 p.m.
The revised schedule is intended to make travel planning more convenient and facilitate connections for passengers traveling through Manila to destinations in the Philippines, Asia, North America and the Middle East.

The expanded Melbourne service will also add cargo capacity through daily flights, supporting Philippine exporters and strengthening trade links between the Philippines and Australia.
PAL currently operates the most flights and serves the most destinations connecting the Philippines and Australia, with daily services to Brisbane and Sydney and three weekly flights to Perth.
The launch of daily Melbourne flights also coincides with a milestone year for PAL in Australia. The flag carrier will mark 55 years of service to Melbourne on September 10, 2026. PAL launched the Manila-Melbourne route in 1971 and has since helped connect communities, businesses and travelers between the Philippines and Australia.
