In October 2021, FedEx launched its gateway facility in Clark, boosting support for businesses and e-commerce growth with modern logistics technology in a 17,000-square-meter space. It handles freight as well as a cold storage facility.

In May this year,  the company broke ground on the expansion of the Clark gateway facility, marking a major milestone in reinforcing the Philippines’ position as a key trans-shipment hub within the FedEx APAC network.

Once complete, the modernized facility will cover more than 78,000 square meters, featuring upgraded handling systems and operational capabilities to improve shipment reliability and service flexibility. The expansion will boost FedEx’s capacity to support express, e-commerce, and freight shipments, while strengthening network resilience amid rising cross-border trade across the region.
