Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) will restore nonstop flights between Manila and Saipan beginning October 25, 2026.
PAL last April suspended its flights to and from Saipan due to ongoing runway repair works at Saipan International Airport following the onslaught of typhoon Sinlaku. The airport resumed operations in June.
PAL in a statement said the restored route will strengthen tourism, family, and commercial ties between the Philippines and the Northern Mariana Islands while providing more opportunities for people and communities across the Pacific to reconnect.
Known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, diving and snorkeling sites, historical landmarks, and nature parks, Saipan offers a relaxing complement to the Philippines’ diverse cultural and natural attractions. As a U.S. territory in the Pacific, Saipan also offers an additional travel option for eligible travelers seeking a different island escape.
Aside from Saipan, PAL also serves the Pacific region through flights to Guam, Palau and Honolulu.

These routes form part of the flag carrier’s ongoing network expansion, which is focused on strengthening its North American and Pacific presence while enhancing connectivity across its domestic and regional markets.
