Philippine Airlines (PAL) has taken delivery of its fourth Airbus A350-1000, strengthening its long-haul fleet as the flag carrier presses ahead with its modernization and international expansion program.
The aircraft, registered RP-C3513, arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 7:22 p.m. on September 2, 2026 from the Airbus’ center in Toulouse, France, PAL announced.
RP-C3513 is the fourth of nine Airbus A350-1000 aircraft ordered by PAL in 2023.
PAL is the first and remains the only carrier in Southeast Asia to operate the A350-1000.
The airline’s flagship aircraft for long-haul operations is configured with 382 seats in a three-class layout, including private Business Class suites with sliding privacy doors, a dedicated Premium Economy cabin and an enhanced Economy Class product.
The A350-1000 also offers improved fuel efficiency, lower carbon emissions and enhanced operational performance compared with previous-generation aircraft, PAL said in a media release.
The latest delivery follows PAL’s receipt of its third A350-1000, RP-C3512, last July 29, 2026.
PAL is further expanding its future fleet plans. At the Farnborough International Airshow in June, the airline signed memoranda of understanding for nine additional Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, with purchase rights for five more, and 15 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners, with options for five additional aircraft.
The aircraft covered by these commitments are scheduled for delivery through 2036, supporting PAL’s long-term expansion plans and efforts to maintain a modern and efficient fleet.
The A350-1000 currently serves key international markets including San Francisco, New York and Toronto, supporting PAL’s strategy of strengthening links between the Philippines and major global destinations.
