Philippine Airlines (PAL) has again extended the suspension of its flights to and from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, until November 29, 2026, citing the evolving security situation at King Khalid International Airport.

The suspension covers flights PR654 and PR655, which operate between Manila and the Saudi capital.

In its latest travel advisory, PAL said it continues to monitor developments and evaluate conditions affecting flight safety.

“PAL continues to closely monitor developments and assess conditions affecting the safe operation of its flights,” the airline said, adding that further updates would be provided as necessary.

The initial suspension was for flights on October 8, then extended to October 9 to 11.

PAL had previously said it would resume regular Riyadh services only after conducting a safety evaluation.

The extended suspension follows reported attacks on Saudi airports earlier in October, including King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation reported that the attacks claimed by the Houthis resulted in three civilian deaths and 36 injuries.

A second attack was reported on Sunday, killing one and injuring at least 11 others.

The airline has advised passengers to monitor its official channels for further announcements concerning the affected flights.
