The faster annual increase recorded by the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products mainly contributed to the acceleration in VaPI and VoPI in September. Other primary contributors were the faster annual increases in the manufacture of basic metals and the manufacture of transport equipment.

For VaPI, thirteen other industry divisions also exhibited increments, while six others posted declines.

In terms of VoPI, 10 other industry divisions saw growth while nine others recorded declines.

The top three industry divisions contributing to the overall year-on-year growth rate of VaPI and VoPI in September 2026 were the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products; computer, electronic and optical products; and basic metals.

The value of net sales index (VaNSI), meanwhile, also registered a faster year-on-year increase of 11.3% in September 2026 from the 10.4% and 5.4% increment in August 2026 and September 2025, respectively.
