SINOTRUK showcased battery-electric commercial vehicles, electric powertrain technologies, and energy systems at the IAA Transportation 2026 for long-haul logistics, construction, and urban distribution applications.
Among vehicles on display was the SITRAK 4×2 battery-electric tractor for long-haul logistics.
IAA Transportation took place September 15-20, at the Deutsche Messe exhibition grounds in Hannover, Germany.
The tractor has a curb weight of 10.1 tonnes and a gross combination weight of up to 44 tonnes. SINOTRUK said its aerodynamic design, energy management and energy recovery systems enable energy consumption of as little as 1.1 kilowatt-hours per kilometer.
The vehicle has a 600-kWh battery capable of megawatt-level charging, with a 20%-80% charge taking about 23 minutes, according to the company.
It also features a long-haul cab, digital rear-view mirrors and driver-assistance functions based on multi-sensor fusion.
Energy system
SINOTRUK also displayed an integrated wind-solar-storage-charging-swapping system for new-energy commercial vehicle operations.
The system combines renewable energy, energy storage, grid and backup power with charging and battery-swapping infrastructure. It can operate either on-grid or off-grid, depending on local conditions.
The company said the system is intended to address issues including limited grid capacity, fluctuating loads and the power requirements of commercial vehicle charging.
SINOTRUK said the system is already being used in different markets and operating environments.

Vehicle lineup
The IAA Transportation 2026 display also included the SITRAK 4×2 battery-electric light truck for urban distribution, the SITRAK 8×4 battery-electric tipper for construction applications, a 6×2 battery-electric rigid truck for full-trailer transport, and the SITRAK 4×2 diesel tractor for long-haul and cross-border logistics.
SINOTRUK also featured an electric axle and cell-to-pack (CTP) battery systems.
The company said its driver-assistance and other intelligent vehicle technologies are intended to support safety and operating efficiency across different transport applications.
SINOTRUK provides services covering service planning, technical training, talent development and operational assistance.
For major customers and projects, the company said it can provide customized service packages and service contracts covering maintenance and operations.
Its technical training programs cover vehicle operation, maintenance and diagnostics for local service and technical personnel.
