2GO Forwarding has opened its first SM Mall Logistics service in Mindanao at SM City Davao, expanding its integrated logistics offering to retail businesses in the region.
The new service provides the mall’s tenants with logistics support aimed at simplifying distribution, improving efficiency, and addressing their supply chain requirements.
2GO briefed mall tenants on the service during its launch, outlining how the logistics platform can support the movement and replenishment of stocks for retail businesses.
The Mindanao rollout forms part of 2GO’s broader mall logistics strategy, which uses its transportation, forwarding, and cross-docking capabilities to support retailers and mall-based businesses.
Through its 2GO Connect Mall Supply Chain solution, the company is also pursuing a model that allows stock to be replenished directly at malls and retail partners, reducing the need for conventional warehousing and associated handling.
2GO’s SM City Davao service is located at the company’s SM City Davao facility in Ecoland. The company also maintains other 2GO locations in Davao and elsewhere in Mindanao while SM has branches across major cities in the southern mainland.
SMX Events Logistics
The expansion comes as 2GO deepens its logistics partnership with the SM Group. In September, 2GO signed a memorandum of understanding with SMX Convention Center, SM Estates, Central Business Park (CBP) and SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation to establish 2GO-SMX Events Logistics, a centralized permit and logistics facilitation system for events at SMX Convention Center and the Mall of Asia Complex.
Under the arrangement, 2GO serves as the central logistics coordinator for contractors, facilitating permit applications and coordinating requirements with SM Estates and CBP.
The system is designed to streamline the movement of exhibit materials, event equipment and deliveries before, during, and after events.

2GO forwarding business unit head Faye Alonzo said the partnership reflects the company’s push to integrate logistics services across the supply chain.
“Streamlining our work with SMX, CBP, and SM Estates is a reflection of our commitment to innovation across the logistics ecosystem,” Alonzo said in a media release. “Through this partnership, we are consolidating permit processing as an integrated end-to-end solution and a single point of contact for permit processing.”
2GO and SM Malls are part of SM Investments Corp., the diversified listed-firm of the Sy family.
