Smaller ports also exceeded targets: Tacloban (P1.766B), Clark (P1.822B), Iloilo (P1.447B), Legaspi (P1.232B), Aparri (P592M), Surigao (P335M)
Thirteen collection districts of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) surpassed their revenue targets for January to April 2026.
The Port of Batangas and the Manila International Container Port (MICP) were the top performers.
Customs commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno commended the over-performing ports, crediting the gains to the discipline and dedication of personnel across all 17 collection districts nationwide.

Among the ports that surpassed their cumulative revenue targets during the four-month period and their respective collections were:
- Port of Batangas – P79.615 billion
- Manila International Container Port (MICP) – P78.994 billion
- Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) – P16.292 billion
- Port of Legaspi – P1.232 billion
- Port of Iloilo – P1.447 billion
- Port of Cebu – P16.473 billion
- Port of Tacloban – P1.766 billion
- Port of Surigao – P335 million
- Port of Cagayan de Oro – P15.750 billion
- Port of Davao – P17.730 billion
- Port of Subic – P19.683 billion
- Port of Clark – P1.822 billion
- Port of Aparri – P592 million
For April 2026 alone, 11 ports surpassed their monthly targets:
- MICP – P20.859 billion
- NAIA – P4.399 billion
- Port of San Fernando – P607 million
- Batangas – P20.480 billion
- Iloilo – P381 million
- Surigao – P93 million
- Cagayan de Oro – P5.056 billion
- Davao – P5.034 billion
- Subic – P5.925 billion
- Clark – P480 million
- Aparri – P161 million
Nepomuceno said the numbers reflect more than just strong collection performance.
“To the ports that exceeded their targets, congratulations on your outstanding performance. Your achievements inspire the entire Bureau to strive harder and perform better. More importantly, I thank all our collection districts — not only those who surpassed their goals — for their collective contribution in helping the Bureau achieve its overall revenue objectives. Every effort matters, and every port plays a vital role in nation-building,” Nepomuceno said in a statement.
The commissioner called on all collection districts to sustain the momentum and press ahead with institutional reforms under the bureau’s Integrity, Accountability, and Modernization or “IAM” agenda — a framework the BOC said is designed to enhance transparency, modernize customs processes, and improve public service delivery across all ports in support of the government’s broader economic program.
