PortCalls will hold the 1st Southern Luzon Logistics Conference & Exhibit 2026 on July 24 at the Ballroom of the Holiday Inn & Suites Batangas LimaPark, bringing together at least 150 delegates from manufacturing, logistics, transport, port operations, and government to explore the future of Southern Luzon’s supply chain ecosystem.
Themed “Building a World-Class Logistics Ecosystem in Southern Luzon,” the whole-day event runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and draws delegates from Batangas, Laguna, and Cavite. Against the backdrop of Batangas Port’s expansion, Laguna’s thriving industrial estates, and Cavite’s export manufacturing sector, the conference addresses the infrastructure, technology, and policy questions shaping Southern Luzon’s emergence as a national logistics hub.

The Bureau of Customs–Port of Batangas (BOC-POB) joins the event as a key partner, following a courtesy call by PortCalls Publisher Liza Almonte on District Collector Carmelita Talusan, who expressed her support for the conference. Deputy Collector for Assessment Julius Altiche, a regular PortCalls resource speaker, was also present. Both officials are among the conference’s featured speakers, tackling topics on customs service, trade best practices, transshipment procedures, and customs valuation. BOC-POB will also operate a booth at the exhibition area where staff can assist conference participants with their customs inquiries.
The Port of Batangas is the country’s second-largest revenue-generating customs district and a critical pillar of the CALABARZON economy. Collections grew 5.42% from P219.04 billion in 2024 to P230.95 billion in 2025. The port’s strong performance has continued into 2026: in the first quarter of 2026, it collected approximately P59.14 billion against a target of P58.75 billion, with Customs commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno recognizing it as a model of efficiency in customs administration. The port handles an average of 133 vessels per month and moves over 1.6 billion metric tons of goods monthly — volumes that underscore its indispensable role in keeping CALABARZON’s supply chains moving.

The conference program features a keynote address on CALABARZON’s supply chain convergence, presentations on Batangas Port developments and the rise of the Philippines’ second-largest container gateway, and a session on the Southern Luzon expressway network. Delegates will also hear from experts on unlocking ecozone advantages for locators and their logistics partners.
Conference sponsors include Alllink, Asian Terminals Inc. and International Container Terminal Services, Inc (Bronze); and Airspeed, e-Way and Poro Point Management Corp (Exhibitors).
