The award – determined by votes from industry stakeholders, customers, global shippers, and readers of Asia Cargo News – recognized the world’s third-largest shipping company as it continued to expand its global footprint and logistics capabilities.
CMA CGM operates a fleet of more than 700 vessels and serves over 420 ports across five continents through a network spanning 177 countries. In 2025, the group carried more than 24 million twenty-foot equivalent units.

These investments enable the group to deliver improved connectivity, reliability, and flexibility as trade patterns and market conditions change. By utilizing multiple regional hubs and integrated inland networks, the group maintains continuity and adaptability along major global trade routes, even in challenging operational contexts.
Bo Wegener, chief executive officer of CMA CGM Asia Pacific, said the recognition reflected sustained customer confidence in the group’s service model.
“This recognition reflects the continued trust our customers and partners place in CMA CGM to connect markets with reliable, competitive and customer-focused solutions. We will keep strengthening our global network, modernizing our fleet and expanding our logistics capabilities to deliver the connectivity, reliability and flexibility that global trade depends on,” Wegener said in a statement.
CMA CGM, headquartered in Marseille, employs 160,000 people worldwide.
Its logistics arm, CEVA Logistics, one of the five largest in the world, operates 1,000 warehouses and handled 15 million shipments last year. The group’s air division flies cargo under the CMA CGM Air Cargo and Air Belgium brands.
