NEO aircraft, which now comprise 74% of the airline’s fleet, burn 15-20% less fuel and produce significantly less noise than previous-generation jets
Cebu Pacific has taken delivery of a new Airbus A320neo aircraft, further expanding its fleet of fuel-efficient jets as part of its ongoing modernization program.
The new aircraft arrived in Manila from Airbus’ delivery facility in Tianjin, China, and is the second of four A320neo aircraft scheduled to join CEB’s fleet in 2026. By year-end, the airline expects to receive a total of seven next-generation aircraft.
CEB president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao said the latest arrival advances several strategic priorities at once.
“The arrival of another Airbus A320neo reinforces our commitment to sustainability while keeping air travel accessible. In today’s operating environment, NEO aircraft also play an important role in helping us manage costs, improve operational efficiency, and reduce our carbon footprint,” Lao said in a statement.

NEO-family aircraft consume 15 to 20 percent less fuel per flight than the jets they replace and generate substantially less noise, gains that translate directly into lower operating costs per seat and a smaller carbon profile across the network. With this latest delivery, NEO aircraft now account for 74% of CEB’s jet fleet.
Cebu Pacific currently operates one of the youngest fleets globally, consisting of 14 Airbus A330 aircraft, 27 Airbus A321s, 40 Airbus A320s, and 20 ATR turboprop aircraft. The airline said the diversified fleet mix enables wider domestic and international network coverage.
